Wee Kiong joined VMware in Dec 2011 is responsible for technical engagements from Commercial to his current Public sector and Brunei customers. With various experiences from end users support to operations in Microsoft Commercial Ops, he also gained professional delivery experience leading several projects specializing in Microsoft, VMware and backup skillsets from his 4 years in IBM Singapore as well as British Telecomm.

Prior to joining VMware, Wee Kiong has also achieved his VMware Certified Advanced Professional Certification in Data Center Design and Administration (VCAPDCD/VCAPDA and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). He now holds VMware Certified Implementation Expert in Data Center Virtualization (VCIX6-DCV) and MCSE 2016. He has recently involved in writing VCP6.5-DCV exam. On his spare time, Wee Kiong likes to read and do his own testing with his mini lab at home and blog to share his experience and findings and recently awarded his 6th year as VMware vExpert 2017. Other than work, he does jogging, scuba diving, inline skating, movies and chilling out with friends.
Yethoven Tukimin, Senior Systems Engineer SEA, VMware

Yethoven comes with over 11 years of IT industry experience. Prior to VMware, he was with QLogic as a Senior pre-sales consultant supporting OEMs (HP, IBM, Dell, NetApp, EMC) and channels. Prior to that, he was with HDS as a Senior pre-sales consultant where he was the SME for virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V) in addition to his main pre-sales role. He was also with Ingram Micro Asia as a Solution Architect responsible in pre-sales activities and supporting channels in VMware, Citrix, QLogic and HDS.
Mr Eugene Phua Lian Yew, Senior Partner Systems Engineer, VMware

Eugene Phua has been working in the IT industry for 18 years. Having worked in HP, Novell, NetIQ, SUSE, he has worked in various roles such as Premium Support Engineer, Consultant, Project Manager and Solution Architect involving in projects across Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Eugene is currently working in VMware Singapore as a Senior Partner Systems Engineer. As a Partner SE, he has been involved with building Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) capabilities such as vRealize Automation and NSX among VMware’s partners. He is a firm believer in partner enablement through involving the partners in building their own SDDC labs for demo or POC purposes. So far, he has built labs at Ingram Micro Singapore, Jardine One Solution, Fujitsu Singapore and many more. These labs include other solutions such as Palo Alto Advance Firewall Services and Trend Micro Deep Security, to showcase an integrated solution rather than point solution.
Syed Waqar, Senior Solution Architect, Pakistan, VMware

Syed Waqar Uddin joined VMware among the first employees in Pakistan leading the role of Senior Solution Architect for Nascent Countries. Waqar is responsible for the solutions presales involving the complete VMware SDDC stack and is playing a key role in VMware’s strategy in developing countries, nourishing VMware’s technical partner echo system for steady growth and execution.

Before VMware, Waqar led IBM’s Services team for Cloud and Virtualization business as technical lead, overseeing technical projects for data computing, backup and recovery, security and enterprise solutions.

Waqar holds various technical certifications and is a well-known speaker on technology trends, and has received variety of awards. He earned degree from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST) Karachi.
Karim Mohammad, Solution Architect, Pakistan, VMware

Karim has 10+ years of an experience in designing & selling cloud-based solutions. He is currently working as Senior Solutions Architect for Nascent Markets in VMware. He has profound technical skills with proven sales experience across diverse markets of EMEA & APAC. He is passionate about fabricating solutions based on Software Defined Data Centre & Hybrid cloud technologies to new-day business imperatives; so as to boost Customer's profitability. He has hand-on technical expertise on VMware technologies with focus on NSX and holds VMware VCIX6-NV (VMware Certified Implementation Expert – Network Virtualization) Certification. He has advised many customers to maximize their value proposition in technology investments for cost-takeout as well as initiating new revenue streams. He is also an avid technology speaker at various forums.
Presannah Veerakulasingam, Solutions Architect, VMware

Presannah is the Solution Architect for VMware in Sri Lanka and Maldives. Presannah is a part of a team of two in Sri Lanka which has managed to improve the VMware business by 100% YTY since joining in 2015. Before VMware, Presannah was in IBM in Sri Lanka where he worked with several Enterprise customers and responsible for designing and delivering IT solutions based on IBM Power Systems and Storage solutions. He holds an MBA from the University of Cardiff Metropolitan, UK.
